Nearly ten years ago, when Mozambique started to repatriate and resettle thousands of its people back to their homes, V&M together with some other humanitarian organisations made up a list of the most essential items to help resettle these people. Contrary to previous methods of procurement where all items were procured separately, we decided to pack all items in a kit and supply one unit per family. This proved to be very successful, as it helped the organisations to control and distribute items much easier.
V&M, with their many years of experience in this field are able to supply good quality and affordable kits at very short notice. They have their own warehouse in Jhb, where all items are consolidated and then repacked into kits. Depending on the size and urgency of the order, they will also rent in more premises and hire more labour, where required.

All items are packed into a woven polyproplene bag, with the buyer's markings and a list of contents printed on the outside. The bag is stitched closed. Any item can be decreased or increased according to budgets and requirements.
